CODY TOPPERT

Cody Toppert, who has extensive coaching experience on both the professional and collegiate levels, joined Head Coach Matt McMahon’s first staff at LSU as an assistant coach in April of 2022.

Toppert, 39, comes to LSU after three seasons as an assistant coach at Memphis.

At Memphis, Toppert played a large role in game planning and created and managed the team’s analytics program which was among the most advanced in college basketball. In addition to scouting and analytics.

Toppert also put together an NBA pre-draft program that has produced 12 NBA Draft picks. During which time he worked with three of the four highest paid undrafted players in NBA history (Tyler Johnson, Royce O’Neale, and Robert Covington).

JOSIAH PINTO​

Josiah Pinto works at You First Sports, one of the leading athlete representation sports agencies in the world. Josiah primarily works with basketball players in the NBA on all aspects of the business including draft preparation, contract negotiations, scouting, salary cap analysis, marketing and client servicing.

 

Josiah is passionate about developing sports in India, especially the game of basketball on a grassroots level and hopes to see India be well-represented on the global sports stage. Josiah did his undergraduate and MBA at Oral Roberts University and obtained his law degree from Syracuse University.

Shivani Laddha​

Shivani Laddha is a strong advocate of women’s basketball. She grew up playing basketball at the national level and led several teams (Madhya Pradesh State, University of Delhi, and Shri Ram College of Commerce Women’s Basketball) during her time. 

After a few years of professional exploration with American Express, she realised that her heart was in sports. There was no stopping after that. Shivani went to work with the Indian Super League (ISL), India’s top-tier men’s professional football league, for 3.5 years, where she was involved in an amazing breadth of responsibilities, from doing pre-match checks of the competition area to managing key stakeholder relationships with the national federation (AIFF), confederation (AFC), and clubs. Her time at the ISL exposed her to the realms of the Indian sports industry and ignited her passion for women’s sports. Motivated to improve the state of women’s sports in India, Shivani enrolled for MBA at the University of Liverpool and is set to graduate in 2022. She hopes to see Indian women’s basketball championing on the world stage.

Roger Cox

Mr. Roger Cox serves on Rabun Gap’s Admissions team and travels the globe as the Associate Director of Admissions and Athletics. He also has a passion for basketball and is the head varsity basketball coach. 

Coaching basketball for 26 years. Played basketball in college at Toccoa Falls College. Conducted clinics and camps in The Bahamas, Lithuania, Poland, Serbia, Slovenia, India. 300 wins as a high school head coach. Over 50 former players have moved on to college basketball and six have played professionally.
